Everything was really good here, and the views were beautiful. The staff were really helpful, took care of us during 2 days stay. Delicious and absolutely fantastic breakfast that included cereals and yoghourt.

Loved the superior queen room overlooking the garden. The location of the hotel was so ideal, to the Lake District area. Free Wi-Fi was fast and the service was exceptional.

The whole experience was just perfect. The breakfast was full of local meals such as cereal and yoghourt. The hotel was in the central setting close to the areas we wanted to explore. We loved to chill in the nearby Beresford's Restaurant & Pub.

The location was particularly good for Windermere, near easy bus connections to both towns and other places in the Lake District, and good pubs. Plus it was max 15 mins walk to the lake.

Comfortable overall experience. Sensational breakfast, particularly nice views, fab location just next door to central Windermere where there is a plenty of pubs and eating places and Windesmere centre and Bowness centre. Family ambiance, spotless rooms. With an electric kettle and glassware.

This was a beautifully decorated and exceptionally friendly hotel with a central location in good walking distance to lots of attractions. The staff were very amiable and amicable, their services were exceptional.

Stunning location in the nice quiet area, near to Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere, and Kirkwood Guest House. Nearby Beresford's Restaurant & Pub - great place to chill out.

Every detail was perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had family room with a comfortable bed. I had nice days staying at this Victorian hotel.

The dining room was a bit small, and our table was pushed into a corner, making it a bit cramped. The room was on the top floor and was a bit small, which may not be ideal for some guests.
